Dr Sonakshi Sharma graduated from medical school at the University of Western Australia in 2008 and completed Basic Medical Training and Advanced Training in Endocrinology in Auckland. She obtained Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2017.
She currently works as a Consultant Endocrinologist at Taranaki Base Hospital, where she sees a broad range of endocrine conditions. She is actively involved in medical education, including teaching medical registrars and general practitioners.
